Vector Photonics is sponsoring the drinks reception at Technology Scotland’s annual dinner for the second time. The event is to be held on the 17th November at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow City Centre, from 18.15. We look forward to meeting everyone again.

Vector Photonics has benefitted many times from the political representation and lobbying Technology Scotland provides. Technology Scotland members include industrial and academic organisations in Scotland in three network groups – Photonics Scotland, Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Scotland and Product Design Scotland. It is highly effective in representing industry interests; promoting Scottish technology capabilities worldwide; influencing policy at both Scottish and UK government level; supporting members networking and collaboration through events, workshops, and forums; and interfacing with stakeholders.

Ivan McKee MSP, Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise will give a welcome address. The after-dinner speaker is Suzie Imber, Physics graduate; PhD; NASA research scientist; England under 21s Lacrosse player; and winner of the BBC series ‘Astronauts, Do You Have What It Takes?’

It promises to be an excellent evening and networking opportunity!
