Vector Photonics is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Doonin as Business Support Manager, based at its new Kelvin Campus office in Glasgow.
Sharon will bring her outstanding organisation and management capabilities to the start-up company, which currently has a staff team of 12 and is growing. Sharon was a top-three finalist at the PA of the year award 2019 and is a C-Suite Executive Assistant; specifically trained to support CEO-level executives and senior business leaders. This qualification has given her a broad range of invaluable skills, from HR, corporate governance, project management, quality management and event management through to organising travel itineraries and multi-diary management. She will ensure the smooth running of all internal business processes, including the introduction of best-practice, IT management and support systems, as the company continues to grow.
Sharon has gained a wealth of experience working in different sized companies across a diverse range of markets. Most recently Sharon was PA to the CEO at Sivers Photonics (previously CST Global) and its Business Support Manager. Prior to that, she has been Office Manager and Business Analyst within large energy and insurance businesses.
When not at work, Sharon has been Chairperson of the ‘Parent Council and Charity Foundation’ for an Independent School, organising many fundraising events. She is an avid reader and listener to podcasts and books and keeps fit at local cardio classes throughout the week.
