Vector Photonics is exhibiting at ECOC 2023 and maximising customer engagement with an open day at its Glasgow HQ.

Vector Photonics is exhibiting at ECOC 2023, stand 119, Hall 4. ECOC is the premier, European exhibition and conference for the fibre optic communications industry. This year it is held in Glasgow, home to Vector Photonics’. To maximise customer and supply chain partner engagement the company has organised an open day at its headquarters, entitled, ‘Vector Presents – Surface Coupling Lasers’.

Euan Livingston, Sales and Marketing Director at Vector Photonics, said, “The telecoms and datacoms companies at ECOC could all benefit from Vector Photonics’ surface coupling laser technology. We are part of a stand share with other leading companies in the Scottish photonics cluster, organised by Technology Scotland. These companies include Alter Technology TUV Nord UK, Chromacity, Fraunhofer UK Research, Helia Photonics and pureLiFi – all active in the worldwide photonics industry. Having ECOC in Glasgow this year means we can invite customers and supply chain partners coming for the exhibition to an open day, at our nearby site. It is an opportunity to learn more about our surface coupling laser technology; see the development labs; and meet our engineering team.”

As a green initiative, Vector Photonics’ open day guests will be picked up by a coach from Glasgow City Centre and the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) (where the exhibition takes place), for the short trip to Vector Photonics’ site at Kelvin Campus, West of Scotland Science Park.

The ECOC 2023 Exhibition runs from the 2nd to the 4th October, and the conference from the 1st to the 5th October.
